Keong Emas (The Golden Snail) Folklore From Central Java

PRINCE Raden Putra and Dewi Limaran were husband and wife. They lived in a palace. The Prince Raden Putra's father was the king of the kingdom.

One day, Dewi Limaran was walking around in the palace garden. Suddenly she saw a snail. It was ugly and disgusting.

"Yuck!" said Dewi Limaran and then she threw it away into a river.

Lutung Kasarung (West Java Folklore)

PRABU Tapa Agung was an old king. He had two daughters, Purbararang and Purbasari. Prabu Tapa Agung planned to retire as a king. He wanted Purbasari to replace him as the leader of the kingdom. Hearing this, Purbararang was angry.

"You cannot ask her to be the queen, Father. I'm older than she is. It's supposed to be me, not her!" said Purbararang. But the king still chose Purbasari to be the next queen.

Purbararang then set a bad plan with her fiance, Indrajaya. Together they went to a witch and asked her to put a spell on Purbasari. Later, Purbasari had bad skin. There were black dots all over her body.

The Legend of Surabaya (East Java folklore)

 

A long time ago in East Java there were two strong animals, Sura and Baya. Sura was a shark and Baya was a crocodile. They lived in the sea. Actually, they were friends. But when they were hungry, they were very greedy. They did not want to share their food. They would fight for it and never stop fighting until one of them gave up.

It was a very hot day. Sura and Baya were looking for some food. Suddenly, Baya saw a goat.

SIMALUNGUN (North Sumatra folklore)

ONCE upon a time in North Sumatra, there were three small kingdoms. They were Silou Kingdom, Tanah Djawo Kingdom, and Raya Kingdom. Those three kingdoms lived happily and peacefully. ms were jealous with those three kingdoms. They planned to attack them. However they knew that those three kingdoms were very strong. They wanted just to attack the kingdoms one by one. The first kingdom that wanted to attack was Majapahit Kingdom. The kingdom tried to attack Tanah Djawo Kingdom. One

KAOMOJI......

 Kaomoji berasal dari Jepang. Secara harfiah, "Kao" berarti wajah / muka, dan "Moji" berarti huruf / karakter. Jadi, bisa berarti bahwa kaomoji adalah huruf yang dapat mencerminkan ekspresi wajah.

Kaomoji ini semacam "tanda wajah". Tanda wajah (smiley) adalah  buatan Amerika sendangkan Kaomoji buatan Jepang, Kaomoji lebih baik dari smiley. Karena smiley dibaringkan , sulit dilihat. Tetapi Jepang kaomoji saja tegak dan juga lebih chubby...... kayak yoyod, kekurangan dari KAOMOJI adalah terlalu banyaknya karakter yang digunakan sehingga sulit untuk di ingat dan juga kurang praktis untuk  SMS. :)

MENJADI BLOGGER YANG JUJUR...

waktu pertama kali coba coba untuk blogging..... setiap buka blog-blog yang lainnya banyak sekali warning2 yang diberikan.... ga' boleh ini ga' boleh itu, dan dibalik semua itu rupanya banyak sekali berkahnya buat kita.... termasuk ane.
pertama kali sih ane memang cuman kopas doang (maaf ye buat yang udah ane kopas blogna soalnya g tau...) trus makin kesini sedikt demi sedikit berusaha untuk menulis menulis dan terus menulis,...
menjadi blogger yang jujur.. mungkin sebuah tantangan yang didalamnya terdapat sejuta bahkan tidak terhingga manfaatnya...
