expression preference

is used to talk about preference (kesukaan) 
here posted some form that used to make preference expression 
             a)    S + like + noun + better than + noun
Example : andi likes tea better than coffee
                             Or
S + like + Ving + better than + Ving
Example : andi likes drinking tea better than drinking coffee
b)   S + prefer + noun + to + noun
Example : Lana prefers cake to bread
Or
c)    S + prefer + Ving + to + Ving
Example : Lana prefers eating cake to taking bread
d)   S + would rather + V1 + than + V1
Example : I would rather go to school earlier than come late
e)    S + would prefer to + V1 + rather than + V1
Example : I would prefer to stay at home rather than go out this night
